Listen :: Going ape over new Cabbage special 'Gibralter Ape'

Words: Sam Geary

As we announced here recently, Cabbage have three special luve dates lined up for London. Birmingham and Manchester later this year, but to keep fans going they have dropped the latest blinder in their rapidly expanding repertoire: ‘Gibraltar Ape’.

Produced by James Skelly of The Coral, the 'Ape' follows last year's three DPs - ‘Uber Capitalist Death Trade’, ‘Necroflat In The Palace’ and ‘Terrorist Synthesiser’ - and is, says Cabbage man Lee Broadbent, "a conversational pub paradox. A tireless crusade to be freed of inner constraints. Starring John Hall and the town of Huddersfield.”
